Jamie Macmillan will be hoping for some continuity this time around with his selection into the North Melbourne side to play Essendon on Friday night.

The defender has had a bumpy start to the season with an achilles injury hampering his ability to play back-to-back games.

Delivered by Allied Express, the Roos' team features just the one change, with Macmillan in for Mason Wood (rested).

Macmillan played in Round 1 before missing the next three games. His comeback in Round 5 was short-lived however and despite running out the game against the Hawks, he pulled up sore and wasn’t able to take his spot in the side the following week against the Tigers in Hobart.

After playing the last five games, Wood wil be rested for the clash against the Bombers.

Kayne Turner and Trent Dumont have been included as emergencies.

Adam Cooney (hamstring) and Paul Chapman (groin) will also be missing again due to injury.
