North Melbourne may be boosted by the return of three key players for Sunday’s clash with Geelong.
Director of Football Geoff Walsh said Jack Ziebell, Daniel Wells and Jamie Macmillan would be given every opportunity to push their case for selection ahead of the Roos’ Round 4 clash with the Cats.
"With an eight day break, we’ve been able to give those three guys every chance to put their hand up to play on Sunday," Walsh told NMFC.com.au.
"Jack will continue to be monitored after his knock, but is recovering well and could be ready to go on Sunday. Our medical team will continue to keep a close eye on him throughout the week.
"Jamie (achilles) and Daniel (achilles), along with Jack, will continue to be assessed throughout the week, and we’ll have to see how they get through our main training session on Thursday, as well as our final hit-out on Saturday morning."
