Ben Brown and Andrew Swallow have been included in North’s final 22 to take on Collingwood.

The pair had been in some doubt during the week with knee and thumb injuries respectively, but coach Brad Scott confirmed Brown’s availability on Thursday.

“We thought he’d be touch and go for the Fremantle game but with the flight to Perth, we didn’t feel that it was worth taking the risk with him,” Scott said.

“Having said that, he’s trained all week and he’ll definitely take his place in the side.”

Swallow’s return isn’t as certain, with the skipper set to be tested during the club’s final training session.

“We had a modified session planned for him today (Thursday) where he did a little bit of ball handling and tackling, but he actually joined in more of training than we anticipated,” Scott said.

“He’s done enough to suggest that we’d name him and test him on Saturday to make sure.”

Majak Daw, Kayne Turner and Scott McMahon have been named as emergencies for the clash against the Magpies, with Mason Wood and Ben Jacobs’ omissions confirmed on Thursday.
