Todd Goldstein has become the second Kangaroo to be recognised by his peers, ranked at number 12 in the AFL Players’ Top 50 for 2016.

The ruckman joins Brent Harvey in the list after the veteran was named at number 43.

It’s Goldstein’s first appearance in the list and well deserved after his monster 2015 season. He broke the all-time hit-out record, tallying 1,058 while also averaging a career high 14.7 disposals per game.

He also won his first Syd Barker Medal, was named as the All-Australian ruck and finished as runner-up in the AFL Players Association MVP.

Set to play his 150th game in Round 1, the 27 year old is one of the most important players for the Kangaroos and is widely regarded as the premiere ruckman in the league.

The top 10 will be revealed over the coming days on AFL.com.au.
