Levi Greenwood has moved up into fifth place on the North leaderboard in the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year voting.
The gritty on-baller has been one of the Kangaroos’ most consistent players since returning to the side in Round 2, polling votes from the coaches for the third time on Friday night.
Spending much of the night on Geelong captain Joel Selwood, he racked up 33 disposals, including 18 contested (a career-high), registered 9 clearances and laid 8 tackles.
It was a standout performance from Greenwood on an otherwise disappointing night for North.
As the most influential ruckman on the ground, Todd Goldstein also caught the eyes of the Scott brothers.
With 29 hit-outs to go with his 10 disposals, the number 22 polled votes for the first time this season.
