Combine a devastating loss to Collingwood with several strong performances by Kangaroos players in the VFL, and the recipe is there for selection changes heading into this weekend’s trip to Hobart.

Forwards
Majak Daw continued to take all before him in the VFL, kicking five goals for Werribee last weekend. His performance came even when the Tigers were soundly beaten, and he currently sits on top of the VFL goal kicking leaderboard.

Mason Wood could also be a candidate for a recall after turning in a solid performance in the VFL. He was a part of the North side that won in Hobart in Round 6. The left footer tallied 12 disposals in the 35-point victory against the Tigers.
Midfielders
If Andrew Swallow is cleared to play, he will undoubtedly come straight back into the side after missing the last fortnight.
After heading back to the VFL, Ben Jacobs played in the midfield and was arguably North Ballarat’s best player.

It could open the door for Jacobs to return through the centre of the ground if called upon to face the Eagles.
While Leigh Adams impressed in his first game for three months, he will likely need more time in the VFL before being considered for senior selection.
Defenders
Aaron Mullett has now played three full games in the VFL for North Ballarat and is drawing closer to a return.
Over the last fortnight, opposition small forwards and their performances have proved decisive and with that in mind, Scott McMahon could be a chance to return. West Coast has a variety of forwards that can play both small and tall, which makes the North veteran a viable matchup option.
