Jack Ziebell has joined Todd Goldstein in top spot of the North leaderboard in the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year after a brilliant performance against West Coast.
The vice-captain amassed 24 disposals and 11 clearances throughout the day, but it was his last quarter goal that brought the Hobart crowd to its feet.
Ziebell registered eight votes from the coaches to push his season tally to 29, but his effort was overshadowed by former Bulldog Shaun Higgins.
With his second haul of four goals for the season, Higgins proved the match-winner in the tough conditions at Blundstone Arena.
He also finished with 22 disposals and six tackles to cap off a memorable day, earning nine votes from Darren Crocker and Adam Simpson.
37-year-old Brent Harvey shows no signs of slowing down, and his last quarter was one for the ages.
The veteran had 11 disposals in the final term alone to finish with 24 for the match. He also banged through a vital long goal during the third quarter to bring his side back into the game.
Harvey and Drew Petrie shared a vote apiece, the latter playing a big role in attack and defence with 19 disposals, eight marks and seven inside 50’s.
