It was a sight all North fans would have been delighted to see, Mason Wood up and about and on the training track on Monday.

Wood joined his teammates for recovery following the 14-point win against Essendon.

The emerging forward was carted off the field on a stretcher after landing heavily in a marking contest on Saturday night and didn’t return.

After the match, Wood took to Instagram to thanks fans for their support.
