Sydney’s Kurt Tippett will be in line for a return against North in Hobart, should he get through training.
The forward/ruck hasn’t played since injuring his hamstring tendon in Round 12, some eight weeks ago.
"He's trained all of this week and got through training and pulled up well, so we expect him to train next week and be available," coach John Longmire confirmed following the Swans' big win over St Kilda.
Given his lack of match fitness, Tippett would play predominantly in attack and lend support in the ruck.
Ben McGlynn (one goal) was a shining light in the NEAFL despite a 38-point loss and could also come into contention.
The Swans could be playing for top spot on the ladder if West Coast manage to beat Hawthorn in Perth on Friday night.
