Even before he was drafted to North Melbourne, Josh Williams had a reputation for his amazing speed.
Excelling on the track as a junior athlete, Williams’ impressive acceleration also made for an exciting highlight reel on the football field.
Now, the youngster’s speed will be put to the test in front of nearly 100,000 fans on the biggest day of the year, with Williams set to run in the Gatorade Grand Final Sprint.
Majak Daw was a runaway winner at the 2015 edition of the sprint, before finishing second last year.
The big man is currently overseas, with 19-year-old Williams now with an opportunity to claim bragging rights.
As one of the most accurate kicks in the game, Ben Brown has no problems finding the target, but how will he fare trying to get the ball over the Yarra River?
Brown is set to take part in Fox Footy's Longest Kick competition, with the aim to cross the Yarra River with a 75 metre bomb.
He'll take on the likes of Bryce Gibbs, Matt Suckling and West Coast's Josh Kennedy, as well as AFLW stars Katie Brennan and Sarah Perkins, and former players Brendan Fevola and Dustin Fletcher.
