The loyal Kangaroos' supporters were able to watch the players go through their paces in an open training session before meeting their heroes, obtaining their autographs and taking pictures.
There was also plenty of entertainment to keep the younger generation interested, with an animal farm, Kanga’s Kids’ Club and even a 7/11 slurpee machine to quench the thirst.
With the playing list staying out for more than an hour after training to chat to the supporters, spirits were high at the ground.
