Brad Scott and Brendon Bolton gave Higgins seven votes for his performance, the fourth time he’s polled in a game this season.
It takes the Roo to 26 for the season, just one behind Ben Cunnington who has so far collected the highest tally of any North player.
Jack Ziebell was the other Kangaroo to be recognised by the coaches against Carlton, earning three votes for his game.
The captain had 29 disposals, his highest tally since the season opener.
