North Melbourne wishes to advise Adelaide prosecutors have dropped charges against Trent Dumont over an alleged incident with a taxi driver in 2014.

Dumont was facing one count of aggravated robbery in the Adelaide District Court.

“Trent and the club are obviously very satisfied with the outcome today,” GM Football Cameron Joyce said.

“Trent will now be able to put this all behind him and fully focus on his football and the great opportunity that awaits him this season.”

The club will make no further comment.
