Aaron Mullett isn’t planning on letting his spot in the North side go after being selected to play against the Cats on Sunday.
The skilled defender has had a turbulent pre-season, which included shoulder surgery and a bout of pneumonia, but has now declared himself fully fit and ready.
The 25-year-old made his debut for North in 2011, but has only managed 67 games since.
Also back in the side after missing Round 1 is Ben Cunnington. Arguably the Roos’ best performer in the practice matches, the tough midfielder was ineligible to play in the season opener due to suspension but is a handy inclusion with the Roos going up against the likes of Joel Selwood and Patrick Dangerfield.
Majak Daw has been called in to replace the injured Jarrad Waite while Taylor Garner is set to feature in his first game since Round 3, 2016.
Brayden Preuss, Declan Mountford and Mitchell Hibberd make up the emergencies.
