Shaun Higgins, Ben Brown and Ben Cunnington have been nominated as North Melbourne’s most valuable players by the AFLPA.
Nominated by their teammates and the wider playing group, the trio have been recognised as North’s best.
Higgins has had a career-best season playing through the midfield, winning the AFLPA MVP for June, and is firmly in All-Australian calculations.
Brown has continued his excellent goal-kicking form in 2018, and is second in the race for the Coleman Medal with a round to go.
Cunnington has been a dominant force in the through the midfield with his strength and ability in the contest. The tough midfielder set a new contested possession record in Round 10 with 32 against Richmond.
Jed Anderson’s fine season in the midfield has seen him nominated as North’s most courageous player, impressing with his relentless attack of the ball.
Luke Davies-Uniacke has been nominated as the best first year player for the Roos.
The winners will be announced at the AFL Players’ MVP Awards on Thursday 30th August.
