From famous wins to record-breaking performances, 2018 has had its fair share of memorable moments for North Melbourne fans.

Our future secured
Through the generosity of its fans, North Melbourne raised $1.3 million in 24 hours to keep Arden St forever home of the Shinboners.
Good Friday
North Melbourne hosted St Kilda in the second Good Friday clash, and recorded its first win in the fixture, defeating the Saints by 52 points, with Ben Brown kicking 6 goals.
Roos destroy the Blues
The Roos recorded their biggest win of 2018, as they demolished Carlton by 86 points in Round 4.
Jarrad Waite retires
After 16 seasons in the AFL, four of which were in the royal blue and white stripes, fan-favourite Jarrad Waite called time on a fantastic career.
A win in WA
North Melbourne became the first Victorian team to win at Optus Stadium when they beat Fremantle in Round 10. The win was made even more special as it was Todd Goldstein's 200th game for the Roos.
Higgins’ career-best
Shaun Higgins capped off a career-best season by being selected as North Melbourne’s first member of the All Australian team since 2015.
A win at the SCG
The Roos recorded a memorable win at the SCG in Round 7, with Mason Wood’s fourth goal of the night sealing a two-point win.
The fortress
A 40-point win over eventual premiers West Coast in Round 19 gave North Melbourne a 3/3 record at its second home, Blundstone Arena.

Ben Brown’s blitz
After being kept goalless for a half, Ben Brown exploded into life in the third term against the Giants in Round 9, kicking five goals as he spurred the Roos to victory.
A gutsy result
After blowing Hawthorn away in a dominant first half-performance in Round 5, the Roos lost Shaun Higgins and Ed Vickers-Willis to concussion. North held on for a gutsy and memorable win despite being two men down.
The skipper steps up
In the dying stages of a see-sawing affair between North and the Bulldogs in Round 14, a creative Ben Brown toe-poke found an open Jack Ziebell in goal square, who sealed a famous two-point win.
Jacobs returns
After being sidleined since 2016 with persistent injuries, one of North's most crucial midfielders, Ben Jacobs, returned to the first team to great effect, nullifying some of the games best midfielders such as Dustin Martin, Patrick Cripps and Nat Fyfe.
A memorable match-up
When South Sudanese countrymen Majak Daw and Aliir Aliir lined up on each other in Round 17, it was a match-up that transcended football, and was one you couldn’t take your eyes off.
King of the contest
North pushed reigning premiers Richmond all the way in Round 10, largely due to the efforts of Ben Cunnington, who broke the record for contested possessions in a game, with 32.
Joeys arrive
The Roos welcomed an exciting group of draftees in 2018, with Academy prospect Tarryn Thomas and father-son duo Bailey Scott and Joel Crocker among them.
A busy trade period
North went heavy in the 2018 trade period, securing the services of elite wingmen in Aaron Hall and Jared Polec, hard-running defender Jasper Pittard, and inside midfielder Dom Tyson.
Never Beaten
After more than 700 days between AFL games, Sam Wright made a long-awaited return to the fold in Round 7, displaying one of the true Shinboner values.
Our Time Is Now
After securing an AFLW license in 2017, the North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos made their first signing in April, securing 2018 League Best-and-Fairest winner, Emma Kearney.
