Terms and conditions

4. Shaun Higgins

Higgins continued his excellent form into the Essendon game, enjoying his fourth 30+ disposal effort in as many weeks.

The number four was North’s leading ball-getter once again, and showed why so many people rate him so highly.

10.Ben Cunnington

Cunnington has been a picture of consistency this year, and despite a quiet second term, he managed to pick up 23 disposals, and kick 2 goals.

11. Luke McDonald

McDonald impressed when going forward, and kicked 2 trademark long bombs at important stages to keep North in with a chance.

15. Paul Ahern

A late inclusion, Ahern was vital with his polish and ability to hit targets by foot.

He finished with 22 touches and kick his first ever goal, a memorable moment for the youngster.

19. Sam Wright

Wright was rock-solid in defence all day, pulling down 11 marks and finishing with 21 disposals.

22. Todd Goldstein

Goldstein is enjoying a resurgence of late, and this continued against the Bombers and their in-form ruckman Tom Bellchambers.

The big man won 44 hit-outs, and had 14 disposals.

34. Jamie Macmillan

Macmillan enjoyed 24 disposals off half-back, and was cool under pressure from the Essendon forwards.

His 15 kicks and 9 handballs went at an impressive 87.5 per cent efficiency.
