North Melbourne has reached 40,000 members for the sixth consecutive year.
North managing director and CEO, Carl Dilena, said it was a testament to the faith and loyalty of members.
“We’ve been the first to admit we haven’t been pleased with how we’ve started the season but we are truly grateful for the support of our members,” Dilena said.
“The unwavering support has once again been something truly special despite the bumps in the road we’ve encountered this season.”
Dilena said the club would not stop fighting to get its season back on track.
“I can assure our loyal members we are doing everything possible and our game against Carlton on the weekend was a positive step,” he said.
“We’ve seen some really promising signs in our youngsters like Tarryn Thomas, Jy Simpkin. Bailey Scott and Luke Davies-Uniacke, as well as the Rising Star nomination of Cam Zurhaar.
“I urge our members to continue to stick with us and continue to support he boys at games, as this is when we need them most.”
