North’s four premiership cups were taken to the people of Tasmania last week as part of the 150 Year Tasmanian Tour, presented by Spirit of Tasmania.
Donald McDonald, Ian Fairley and Ross Henshaw boarded the Spirit of Tasmania in Melbourne, sailing to Devonport, before hitting the road through Deloraine, Burnie, Launceston, Ulverstone, all the way through to Hobart.
Along the way, North fans had the opportunity to hold the famous cups, including the only ever gold edition, from the 1996 premiership.
Joined by Luke McDonald in Tasmania, the group visited primary schools, hospitals, and some iconic local landmarks.
The final stop was Blundstone Arena on Saturday, with some lucky members given the chance to take the cups onto the ground before the big clash against Melbourne.
It was a week to remember, and all thanks to the club’s platinum partner, Spirit of Tasmania.
