Jack Ziebell says North puts its first four-quarter effort together on Saturday night against Carlton.
The victory saw the Roos record their first 9-0 start to a season in the club’s history.
“It was nice to do that (play four quarters) and not rely on a few guys … we all shared the load and it was a pretty complete performance,” Ziebell told Triple M.
North sits two games clear on top of the ladder, setting itself up strongly for the second half of the season.
“We set a goal at the start of the year to win 12 games as quick as possible,” Ziebell said.
“The quickest way to do that is to get the win against Sydney, which is a massive game for us against the in-form team in the competition.
“We’ve got some really good self-belief of what we can do with our footy club and what we can do as individuals and as a team.
“Our game-plan has stacked up in big games in the past, in finals, so we don’t look too far ahead, but we understand what we can do and how we can do it.”
The Roos will face some big tests in the next couple of months, coming up against the likes of Hawthorn, Geelong and Adelaide in enemy territory.
“It’s exciting for us, to think we are going to play in the next six weeks probably the top six sides or thereabouts.
“Playing against the good sides is what you want to do as an AFL team and what you bring yourself up to.”
