The opposition
Adelaide broke its MCG hoodoo in Round 2, prevailing by 61 points in a high-scoring match against Essendon.
The Crows' spread and attack was too much for the Bombers as they cruised to a massive total of 25.11 (161).
Captain Jordan Dawson (33 disposals, 775 metres gained) set the tone at the 'G and will occupy North Melbourne's coaches as they prepare for Sunday, as will in-form forwards Riley Thilthorpe, Josh Rachele and Darcy Fogarty.

Tristan Xerri
An exceptional performance against Max Gawn in the win over the Demons saw Xerri earn a perfect 10 coaches' votes this week.
He finished with 29 hitouts, 20 disposals, 12 clearances, 10 score involvements and a goal to take another step towards becoming the competition's premier ruck.
His ability to play as another midfielder has been a key to North Melbourne's recent dominance in the middle of the park, and he'll need to deliver more of the same right from the first bounce on Sunday afternoon.
What the coach has said
North Melbourne senior coach Alastair Clarkson, post-game on Sunday: "We're hoping we can build into something but we know it takes a hell of a lot of hard work and we're also very mindful that we're at Round 2. We're at one win and one loss and we're coming up against a pretty formidable opponent.
"All we intend to do is try to be as competitive as we can deep into games and we know that as we become a better side we'll be able to capitalise on opportunities and turn them into victories."
