On the eve of the AFLW Grand Final, Mazda Australia has confirmed its ongoing support of the North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos as major partner in 2025.

The extension will take Mazda Australia into their eighth season as sole major partner of the team with its logo proudly displayed on the front and back of the playing guernsey.

Mazda Australia first joined North Melbourne in 1999. The overall partnership, now in its 26th year, is one of the longest running partnerships in Australian sport.

“Mazda Australia have been by our AFLW team’s side since our entry into the AFLW competition in 2019 and we’re proud to extend this foundational support into the future,” North Melbourne CEO Jen Watt said.

“Without hesitation, Mazda Australia jumped on board, and have been unwavering in their support of the team in our pursuit for silverware.

“The values alignment between the club and Mazda Australia, teamed with their commitment to women’s football, has and continues to make this partnership a great fit.”

Mazda Australia’s National Brand Manager Ashlin Moore said the company was thrilled to continue their support of the club’s AFLW team.

“Mazda has long been renowned for its Challenger Spirit, and the grit and determination demonstrated by the North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos goes to show just how perfectly matched our partnership with the team is,” Moore said.

“We are thrilled to continue our support into 2025, myself and the whole team at Mazda Australia will be passionately barracking for the Roos win this weekend."
