North Melbourne will compete for a spot in the AFLW Grand Final when it meets red-hot Port Adelaide in a preliminary final at Ikon Park on Saturday afternoon.

The Roos earned a week off after edging Adelaide in the qualifying final. The Power reached the last four after executing a comeback to remember in their semi-final against Hawthorn, triumphing by a point.

Tickets for the Roos' preliminary final against the Power are on sale from Monday, November 18.

Club and AFL members can secure tickets in a priority sales window from 12pm AEDT. Tickets for the general public go on sale at 2pm.

Junior fans (under 18) can attend the preliminary final free of charge, with tickets for adults $20.

The Kangaroos dazzled before torrential rain fell last time out against the Power, defeating the visitors by 36 points under Friday night lights at Mission Whitten Oval in Week 4.

Star midfield duo Jasmine Garner (30 disposals, one goal) and Ash Riddell (30 disposals, 13 tackles) led the way for the home side, working well at the feet of ruck Kim Rennie (22 hitouts, 10 disposals).

Defensively, North Melbourne broke the AFLW team tackle record, laying 129 tackles with Mia King notching 17 of them.
