The North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos have made two changes to their side for Saturday's clash with the Western Bulldogs at Arden Street Oval.

As reported earlier in the week, senior coach Darren Crocker will be without captain Emma Kearney, who suffered a high-grade hamstring strain against Richmond last weekend, and Kate Shierlaw, who picked up a low-grade elbow sprain in the same game.

Shierlaw is expected to make a quick recovery, whereas Kearney is projected to miss the next six weeks.

Replacing the experienced duo is defender Eliza Shannon and winger Taylah Gatt.

Shannon is set to make her 2024 season debut after missing the first month of action due to an ankle injury. Gatt, who was sidelined for the Week 5 victory over the Tigers due to illness, returns to the line-up.

Following their gritty win over Richmond in Launceston on Sunday, the Roos remain undefeated through six games and will aim to extend their strong run when they host a Bulldogs outfit that saluted by seven points against Sydney last time out.

Lulu Pullar, Blaithin Bogue and Liz McGrath are Saturday's emergencies.
