North Melbourne has informed Curtis Taylor, Bigoa Nyuon, Tyler Sellers and Hamish Free they will not be offered contracts beyond 2024.
Taylor made his AFL debut in Round 8, 2019 after being taken by the Roos with pick No.46 in the 2018 AFL Draft. The 24-year-old played 76 games across his six seasons at the club, including eight in 2024.
Nyuon joined the Roos during the 2023 Continental Tyres AFL Trade Period after four seasons at Richmond. The 23-year-old featured three times in the royal blue and white, adding to his sole game for the Tigers in 2022.
Sellers was elevated to the Roos’ AFL list on the eve of the 2024 season through the Supplemental Selection Period. The 22-year-old played two games, making his AFL debut in Round 5 this year.
Free arrived at Arden Street at the end of 2022 after being taken by the Roos with pick No.19 in the Rookie Draft. The 26-year-old played 20 VFL games for the club over two seasons but leaves without playing at the highest level.
North Melbourne general manager of football Todd Viney thanked Taylor, Nyuon, Sellers and Free for their contributions.
“Curtis became a popular member of the playing group across his six seasons at North Melbourne, and we thank him for all his efforts and dedication to our program during his time here,” he said.
“We also thank Bigoa, Tyler and Hamish for all their efforts and dedication during their respective time at the club.
“It’s always tough having to make these kinds of decisions, and we wish all four men well for the future.”
