Harry Sheezel has added eight more AFL Coaches' Association Champion Player of the Year Award votes to his tally after hitting a career high against Geelong at Blundstone Arena on Saturday.

The young star snagged a goal and gathered a game-high 36 possessions (25 contested) and nine clearances.

He also had 14 score involvements out of the Kangaroos' total of 16, in what was the highest-rated performance of his career so far, according to Champion Data.

Tristan Xerri also picked up three votes to continue his stellar campaign. The ruckman hit career highs for hitouts (54) and disposals (25), while laying eight tackles.

Smooth-moving onballer Luke Davies-Uniacke (31 disposals, six clearances, six tackles) was the third and final Roo to earn votes from coaches Alastair Clarkson and Chris Scott, receiving two to take his season tally to 53.
