North Melbourne's Curtis Taylor has earned a Virgin Australia AFL Mark of the Year nomination for his spectacular pluck against the Demons on Saturday night at the MCG.
As the Roos looked to rebound from their defensive 50 midway through the third quarter, Taylor got the sit on Melbourne's Ed Langdon and reined in the grab on the half-back flank.
The 24-year-old finished the match with 14 disposals, seven marks, and a goal assist in his fifth game of the season.
Taylor is up against Fremantle forward Josh Treacy and Geelong defender Tom Stewart for the outright Round 15 nomination.
