Tickets are selling fast for Tasmania’s first ever Friday night AFL clash, as North returns to Hobart for the second time this season.
Less than 1,000 general admission tickets remain for the clash, while a limited number of restricted view seats also remain on sale as of Monday afternoon.
A capacity crowd is expected for the match, which will see the Tigers take on the Roos for the first time since North’s Elimination Final win in September last season.
Fans should arrive early to soak up all the atmosphere of the Spirit of Tasmania Pre-Game Show, with Tim Rogers set to perform a memorable set of classic footy songs from 7.15pm onwards. The lights will also be turned out pre-game, with a pyrotechnics display also part of the pre-game entertainment.
Blundstone Arena recommends viewing its virtual journey to the ground before making travel plans.
Free shuttle buses will be available for ticketholders, giving plenty of park and ride options to make the trip less stressful.
A free ferry service will also operate, thanks to Events Tasmania. Ferries will depart the Brooke St Pier and arrive at Bellerive Quay. The first ferry will depart at 4.30pm, with further departures at 5.10pm, 5.30pm, 5.50pm, 6.10pm, 6.30pm and 6.50pm.
