Saturday afternoon's VFL intraclub match will feature 17 AFL-listed players who will be out to stake their claims for a Round 2 senior call-up.

Co-captain Luke McDonald is among the senior Roos set to play in the hitout, which starts at 12pm AEDT at Arden St Oval.

Joining McDonald are Hugh Greenwood, Charlie Comben, Brayden George, Blake Drury, Robert Hansen jnr, Finnbar Maley, Jackson Archer, Curtis Taylor, Riley Hardeman, Wil Dawson, Taylor Goad, Will Phillips, Bigoa Nyuon, Tyler Sellers, Cooper Harvey, and Hamish Free.

It will be the final hitout for the VFL squad ahead of its season-opening clash with the Northern Bullants next Saturday at home.
