North Melbourne has welcomed Bulk Nutrients as its official Protein and Supplement Partner.

The new two-year partnership will see Bulk Nutrients provide North Melbourne with its range of high-quality protein powders and supplements to support the development, performance and recovery of both the club's AFL and AFLW players.

North Melbourne head of performance Kevin White said nutrition played an important role in athletic performance.

"Good nutrition is essential for professional athletes to train and perform at their best, so it’s important that our players are using the right supplements," he said.

"Bulk Nutrients products will complement our overall nutrition plans for our players and help fuel their development, performance and recovery."

This is Bulk Nutrients' first partnership with an AFL club after established relationships with A-League clubs.

Bulk Nutrients strategic marketing manager Nick Purdon said the company was excited to enter the AFL space by partnering with North Melbourne.

"We couldn’t be more thrilled to partner with North Melbourne as their Official Protein and Supplement Partner over the next two years," he said.

"Working with an elite-level AFL club is a first for us here at Bulk Nutrients, and we’re so excited about what this two-year deal will bring for both our team and theirs.

"For Bulk Nutrients, being able to support both the men’s and women’s teams throughout the 2024 and 2025 seasons is a no-brainer, as it enables us to provide our high-quality, effective supplements to both playing groups while promoting general health and wellbeing."

Established in 2008, Tasmanian-owned Bulk Nutrients has become a leading manufacturer and supplier of sports nutrition products in Australia. All Bulk Nutrients products used by North Melbourne are HASTA certified to ensure they are free from banned substances and safe for use.
