North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos onballers Mia King, Ash Riddell, and Jasmine Garner have all earned AFL Coaches' Association AFLW Champion Player of the Year Award votes following the Round 8 defeat to Melbourne.

King, who was close to her tenacious best with 13 tackles and 20 disposals, polled two votes, while Riddell's game-high 31 disposals and one goal assist saw her also receive two from North Melbourne senior coach Darren Crocker and Melbourne senior coach Mick Stinear.

Fellow midfielder Garner was awarded one vote after notching 21 touches and 492 metres gained.

The No.25 remains atop the leaderboard with 61 votes from eight appearances, four ahead of Brisbane's Ally Anderson with two matches remaining in the home and away season.
