North Melbourne players will train and recover in the world’s most advanced sports compression gear, with 2XU partnering with the club.

The Australian brand has grown on a global scale since its inception in 2005, and continues to be an innovator in performance and recovery.

North head of high performance Alex Moore said the club is excited to be using 2XU technology until at least the end of 2020.

“In the AFL, players need to be performing at an optimum level and that means having the best available recovery protocols and resources available,” Moore said.

“That’s why we are excited to have 2XU to assist us and help us reach our potential on a daily basis.

“Not only will our players use 2XU to recover, particularly on flights to and from interstate after games, but they will also train in 2XU gear.”

2XU’s General Manager of Global Custom & ANZ Wholesale, Ben Smith is delighted to see North Melbourne join 2XU’s extensive list of high performance sports teams who wear and trust the Australian premium sports compression brand.

“2XU has a long and proud history providing the globe’s most advanced compression garments to the best teams in world sport. To have the North Melbourne Football Club join the 2XU family is another great milestone for us and we look forward to supporting the players and greater Kangaroos community throughout the 2019 and 2020 seasons,” he said.
