The North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos have named their extended squad ahead of Round 5's clash with the Giants at Arden Street Oval.

Co-vice captain Nicole Bresnehan is the only confirmed out at this stage, with the defender being ruled out for at least the next six weeks due to a left ankle syndesmosis injury.

Tess Craven and Ailish Considine feature in the squad after both were omitted before last week's trip to Tasmania, while Lucy Burke and Liz McGrath have also been included.

The Roos are yet to suffer defeat to the Giants, having defeated the club from New South Wales in all three meetings between the teams.

Sunday will also see the club host its very own Multicultural Round, with a street festival featuring food trucks, music, art and kids entertainment.

The final 21-player team will be confirmed on Friday at 5pm AEST.
