While most players will be meeting fans at Family Day on Sunday, a select few, including two first-gamers will be lining up in the VFL.
At least four Kangaroos will be in action during North Ballarat’s first practice match of 2015, with Max Warren, Robin Nahas, Sam Durdin and Braydon Preuss all confirmed starters.
It will be the first opportunity to see Durdin and Preuss play a competitive match since their arrival at the club, via the 2014 National and Rookie Drafts respectively.
The Roosters’ clash against Coburg will be played at Highgate Recreation Reserve from 1.30pm, meaning those participating will not be appearing at Family Day.

There is also the chance for any of the emergencies from Saturday’s NAB Challenge game against Richmond to drop back and play for North Ballarat, dependent on selection.
A day earlier, Werribee will have at least five Roos in action, with Scott McMahon, Daniel Currie, Ed Vickers-Willis, Majak Daw and Kieran Harper all set to line up.
The Tigers played their first game last week against the Northern Blues, with Harper turning in a 60-minute performance that earned the praise of development coach Jarred Moore.
With a stronger side around him on Saturday against Footscray, Harper should be able to see more of the ball playing across half-forward. Vickers-Willis will be another to play his first game since joining the club.
