North Melbourne's nominees for the 2023 MVP Awards have been revealed by the AFL Players’ Association.
The awards include MVP, Best First Year Player, Most Courageous Player and Best Captain.
Spearhead Nick Larkey, star midfielder Luke Davies-Uniacke and first-year sensation Harry Sheezel are the three Kangaroos who have been put forward by their teammates for the MVP Award.
Larkey led the club’s goalkicking tally for the third consecutive season with a career-high 71 goals, while Davies-Uniacke and Sheezel averaged a team-high 27 disposals.
Sheezel is also in the running for the Best First Year Player Award following his impressive debut season.
All club captains are automatically nominated for the Best Captain Award, with co-captains Luke McDonald and Jy Simpkin in contention for their first season in the role, while hard-nosed forward Cam Zurhaar is up for the Most Courageous Player Award.
The 2023 MVP Awards will be held on Wednesday, August 30 alongside the AFL Awards and broadcast live on Fox Footy from 7pm AEST.

Best First Year Player Award: Harry Sheezel
Best Captain Award: Luke McDonald and Jy Simpkin
Most Courageous Player Award: Cam Zurhaar
