Freshly retired North Melbourne great Jack Ziebell has earned a Mark of the Year nomination for his grab against Richmond last Saturday.
With time ticking away in the first term, Ziebell got the sit on Tigers forward Liam Baker to stir the MCG crowd with a sensational mark that coupled as an intercept.
The veteran went onto finish with 23 disposals, five marks and five rebound 50s before departing the field for the final time.
Ziebell will compete with the Western Bulldogs' James O'Donnell and St Kilda's Cooper Sharman for the weekly nomination.
