North Melbourne youngster Will Phillips has earned nine votes from Kangaroos coach Tom Lynch and Geelong coach Mark Corrigan after an impressive performance at GMHBA Stadium on Sunday night.
The onballer led the way in midfield against the Cats, tallying eight tackles, five clearances, five inside 50s and a game-high 30 disposals in his side's 43-point win.
The outing puts Phillips straight back into contention for the AFL team's clash with Hawthorn on Sunday, after he was omitted in the build-up to Round 17 last week.
VFL-listed key forward Tyler Sellers was the next best for the Kangaroos. He clunked nine marks and booted four goals to receive five votes.
Working alongside Phillips in the engine room was Ben Cunnington who won three votes after notching 26 touches, eight inside 50s and seven clearances, while Ben Davis (26 disposals, nine marks, six rebound 50s) also earned three for his standout efforts behind the ball.
In a defensively sound individual display, Josh Goater was awarded two votes, having gathered eight marks and 23 possessions, including a handful of crucial intercepts when the game was on the line at the beginning of the fourth term.
