Veteran Ben Cunnington is among five additions to North Melbourne's squad for its clash with the GWS Giants at Blundstone Arena on Sunday.
Cunnington had 23 disposals, seven tackles and six clearances in the VFL team's come-from-behind victory over Essendon.
He is a chance to replace one of co-captain Jy Simpkin or utility Hugh Greenwood, who have both been ruled out due to the AFL's 12-day concussion protocols.
The dual club champion is joined in the squad by Aidan Corr, Daniel Howe, Paul Curtis and Blake Drury.
Young midfielder Tom Powell has retained his spot in the side after coming on as the tactical substitute last week.
The 22-player team will be confirmed on Friday afternoon at 5pm AEST.
