North Melbourne has lost two young guns for Sunday morning's crucial VFLW clash with Essendon at the NEC Hangar.
Forwards Charli Granville and Sophia McCarthy will go out of the side due to the AFLW pre-season officially kicking off earlier this week.
They have been replaced by the Felicity Theodore, who missed last week's loss to Box Hill with illness, and Round 10 emergency Zara Flanigan.
The 10th-placed Kangaroos sit two games out of the top six and will be desperate to keep their season alive against the fourth-placed Bombers.
