Vale Mick Nolan
Please see statement from North Melbourne Football Club CEO Eugene Arocca regarding the sad passing of Mick Nolan last night
"On behalf of the Directors, staff, players and members of the North Melbourne Football Club I would like to express my deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Mick Nolan," Arocca said.
"In particular his wife Nettie and sons Ricky, Dale and Danny are in our thoughts at this difficult time.
"After arriving at Arden Street from Wangaratta he quickly became a revered figure among the North Melbourne community and has remained one of the club's most popular players, famously being nicknamed 'The Galloping Gasometer'.
"Mick played 107 games for North and was an integral member of our first VFL premiership side in 1975.
"He will be sadly missed."
