The Magpies have named a squad boasting 24 Collingwood listed players including Anthony Rocca, Paul Medhurst, Josh Fraser and Nathan Brown after they defeated Williamstown by 40 points last week.
It looks a tough hurdle for the minor premiers, but with two wins over Collingwood throughout the season, North Ballarat will go in with plenty of confidence.
North Melbourne's VFL aligned players went through their final paces at Arden Street today with the sun shining on the club's new headquarters. Nine Kangaroos' players and Liston Trophy winner Miles Sewell attended a light skills session taken by Development coach John Lamont as the build up to tomorrow’s do-or-die match continues.
Ed Lower, Cruize Garlett, Aaron Edwards, Michael Wundke, Josh Smith, Corey Jones, Marcus White and Shannon Watt were all named in the North Ballarat team, while the rookie listed Warren Benjamin missed out on a spot.
For retiring veteran Watt, the chance to play in a premiership is all the motivation he needs to produce his best against the Magpies.
"Grand Finals are hard to come by at any level of footy. I had an opportunity when I decided I was going to retire to finish with North Ballarat and we've got a massive chance to play in a flag." Watt said before leaving the track.
The Roosters made just one change to the team that defeated Port Melbourne a fortnight ago with Billy Driscoll returning from a cracked heel. Dean Chester was unlucky to miss out after playing the last three games in the seniors.
Supporters are encouraged to get to TEAC Oval tomorrow to cheer on the North Ballarat team with the first bounce at 2.10pm. Tomorrow's game will also be shown live on ABC TV from 2.00pm.
