North Melbourne has withdrawn star midfielder Luke Davies-Uniacke for Saturday's clash with Hawthorn.

Davies-Uniacke, who has had a dominant start to season 2023, warmed up with the team but felt tightness in his calf.

He will be replaced in the side by former Hawk Daniel Howe, and ex-Fremantle midfielder Darcy Tucker will become the substitute in his club debut.
