Standing at 182cm, George Wardlaw is a tough, competitive onballer with a tremendous defensive work-rate. With power one of his key traits, Wardlaw is able to consistently get his hands on the ball at stoppages and drive away from congestion with force.
Mostly dealing with a hamstring issue, the inside midfielder featured three times for the Oakleigh Chargers in the NAB League this season but was impressively impactful enough to confirm his credentials as a top-four draft pick.

Taken with pick No.26, George is a mercurial forward who was a highly touted player leading into the draft before an untimely ACL injury saw his campaign cut short.
Considered by many as a potential top-10 selection, George has a lightning-quick first step and is a commanding presence in the forward line, despite not being overly tall. Although he's expected to miss the bulk of his debut season at Arden Street, the Murray Bushrangers product has enormous upside which was too exciting to pass up on.

A midfielder who can play a multitude of roles, Daniel Howe registered 96 games over eight years for Hawthorn after being drafted in the second round of the 2014 National Draft. After being delisted after the 2022 season, North Melbourne chose to rookie list the experienced Kayne Turner. The 2021 Harold Henderson Best Clubman Award winner has played 118 games for the club since arriving in late 2013, including 17 in 2022.
Having strong leadership qualities, as well as the unique ability to play as either a traditional small forward, a tagger in the guts, or a lockdown defender, always has Turner in the mix for senior selection.
