With just one week to go in the regular Dream Team season, North Melbourne's notable players turned in eye-catching performances against Melbourne in the comfortable win.

Captain Andrew Swallow led from the front scoring a career-high 160-points after gathering 32 touches and a near-AFL record 17 tackles. Since Round 2, Swallow has had 4 or more tackles in every game. It essentially gives him a 16 to 20 point head start each match before he starts to collect possessions.

In a round which saw some huge individual efforts from the likes of Dane Swan and Gary Ablett, Swallow topped them all to be the highest scorer of the round.

Brent Harvey continued his good form against Melbourne and a large part of the club’s 10 consecutive wins over the Demons has been due to his performances - 30 possessions and 2 goals a continuation of that.

Heading into the finals, an indicator of how Harvey could contribute to your team will be on show this Saturday. With an average of almost 88 against the Bulldogs, another strong performance will have him on track for heavy scores in the following month.

After an eventful week with the birth of his second child, Todd Goldstein was another who had a good score - 103 his second century in succession against the Demons. Last time he played the Bulldogs he scored 88 despite having to share ruck duties with Hamish McIntosh. In theory it should mean another triple figure is in the cards.

Sam Gibson has been one of the best rookie pickups of the year and he notched up a 133-point performance. As far as midfield cover is concerned, Gibson is just about the perfect selection for those who have been lucky enough to own him since his debut.

In a promising sign, despite being held relatively quiet for most of the day, Drew Petrie collected 77-points. With a tough matchup against Brian Lake on Saturday, his run at the Coleman Medal may become tougher.
