Continuing a flurry of North Melbourne re-signings, veteran Aaron Hall has signed a one-year contract extension to continue his career at Arden St.

Hall joined North Melbourne from the Gold Coast Suns at the end of 2018 and has established himself as a rebounding defender over the past two seasons.

The 31-year-old brought up his 150th AFL game earlier this year and set a VFL/AFL record for 1169 metres gained while accumulating 38 disposals in the round 15 clash with Adelaide.

Hall has played 155 AFL games with the Gold Coast Suns and North Melbourne over 11 seasons.

“We are really pleased to have Aaron continue his career here at Arden St,” North Melbourne list and recruiting manager Brady Rawlings said.

“His move to defence last year has seen him breathe new life into his career and play an important role in our backline.

“It’s been quite the journey for Aaron across his AFL career. After 11 season at the highest level, his knowledge and experience has been and will continue to be extremely valuable for our club, particularly our young group of players.”
