Winger Gatt was the club's first selection at the 2022 AFLW Draft (No.28 overall), while key forward McCarthy was the second pick at No.39, and small forward Granville third at No.50.

Forward Wall has won back-to-back All-Ireland titles with Meath and was Football of the Year in 2021, while fellow Australian Football newcomer O'Shea - a defender - joins from Cork and at 20 will be the youngest ever Irish player to play in the AFLW.

The full team to take on the Suns will be confirmed on Friday at 5pm AEST.
