Young defender Jackson Archer will unfortunately miss Saturday night's clash with Geelong despite initially being named in the team.

Archer will miss the clash due to a hip injury, and has been replaced in the team by Atu Bosenavulagi.

Archer, son of club legend Glenn, made his senior debut in last week’s loss to Adelaide, where he impressed with 15 disposals and two tackles in a tenacious display.

Flynn Perez has been added to the emergencies due to Bosenavulagi’s call-up.

The medi-sub will selected out of Perez, Callum Coleman-Jones, Phoenix Spicer and Kyron Hayden.
