The North Melbourne Kangaroos have added six players to its squad to face Adelaide at Blundstone Arena on Sunday.
Jackson Archer, the son of Shinboner of the Century Glenn, has been locked in for AFL debut against the Crows, with the 18-year-old defender being told the news during Thursday's team meeting.
Archer was selected with pick 59 in last year's draft and will become the 1044th player to have represented the North Melbourne men's team.
Joining him in the squad will be Aidan Bonar, Callum Coleman-Jones, Ben McKay, Tarryn Thomas and Cam Zurhaar.
Going out of the side will be injured skipper Jack Ziebell (facial fractures), as well as suspended duo Jason Horne-Francis and Lachie Young.
The final team will be confirmed on Friday at 5pm AEST.
