North Melbourne's VFL side returned to action on Sunday, taking on Sandringham in Round 10 after sitting through a Round 9 bye.

Sandringham started strongly to lead by as many as six goals midway through the second quarter, however the Kangaroos mounted a comeback and earned the lead early in the final term before eventually suffering defeat.
