North Melbourne's VFLW team heads into Round 6 with renewed confidence after their first win of the season last week.

Having ended their four-match losing streak with a 34-point win over Williamstown, the Roos will meet Hawthorn for the second time this season in Sandringham on Saturday morning.

The Hawks were the victors by nearly 10 goals when the sides met in round one, and the Kangaroos will be keen to prove to coach Steph Binder that their win over the Seagulls was no fluke.

With North's AFLW players taking a week off after the Dockers ended their finals campaign, the side's VFLW-listed players will embrace the opportunity to make an impact.

Molly Eastman comes back into the side after recovering from a foot injury, with Brooke Slaney doing a great job as acting captain in her absence. Jess Mourney, who has impressed in training, will aim to continue her damaging form on the wing.

The Hawks will also be missing a handful of players who starred in the round one win, including Tamara Luke, Tegan Cunningham, Aimee Whelan, Lauren Szigeti and Ainslie Kemp.
